weaning off ella's kitchen fruit/veg pouches!

i'm after any experience or advice on weaning my 9 month old off ella's kitchen fruit/veg pouches please!
she started eating homecooked food for a while but still loves the sweetness of the pouches and as she's allergic to dairy, eggs and tomatoes they made a great option for getting her into solids. is it too obvious or do we just need to go cold-turkey on them and wait until hunger forces her to eat the homecooked stuff? she's good and chubby and so i'm not worried about her weight, although times we've tried it before she's got quite grumpy through hunger.
any help gratefully accepted! thanks!

Use them as a base and add your own cooked food to them and over time reduce the amount of the pouch you add to your cooking.

Also don;t stress as she will pick up on your change of demeanor and know something is up!

Do you want to wean her off packets completely or is it just the fruit in Ella's kitchen?

My DD went through a phase of only eating Ella's kitchen but I managed to get her to start eating Plum organic which doesn't have any added fruit. After a week or so of the Plum organic stuff I tried again with some home cooking and she's been alright with it ever since.

Mix in some cous cous to make them lumpier (IMO the EK pouches are much 'smoother' than they ought to be - the stage 2 one is like stage 1 home made food IYSWIM)

But y'know, my 9 month old will only let me feed her yoghurt now - otherwise she just wants to feed herself stuff so I've given up giving her things that need to be fed - and just throw a load of stuff on her tray. So maybe it's that rather than she doesn't like your food?
