We are just getting so bored of eating the same stuff!
He is 15 months and cannot have dairy, soya, nuts, wheat, fish, eggs.
At the moment I am making chilli, bolognaise, beef stew, savoury mince, lamb hotpot, chickeny pasta thing with canellini beans. Oh and roast dinners all the time
Getting a bit bored now. We use the boots baby stock cubes which are great. Any ideas for a chicken casserole? And is it ok to put alcohol in recipes for toddlers? (desperate for different flavours)

thanks in advance!

Pop over to the Allergies board under general health, posters are lovely and extremely helpful. Just this morning tatt posted a recipe for a sponge cake with no wheat or eggs or dairy. I will have a look out for you there x

experimenting is often the best thing you can do. I have several allergies and it's just been cooking and baking experiments to see what works.
(Sorry if I'm telling you stuff you have done but...)You will find it easier if you use the replacements that are out there, however you will have to spend a boring day picking everything up and reading the packaging, it's dull but needed! You should do this every few months too as manufacturers have an annoying habit of altering what's in things.
Soya spread, cream cheese, egg replacer etc are all easy to get hold of these days from a health shop, but again, check the ingredients lists!
I found this which may help you, it's a list of gluten free recipes from the vegan society, so no dairy and eggs either, if they aren't bang on I'm sure you can tweak them about. www.vegansociety.com/lifestyle/food/recipes/gluten-free/
Drop me a line if you like at falleniceangel at yahoo dot co dot uk and I shall try and dig out some of my recipes for you. :D

Wine should be fine, as the alcohol evaporates as the liquid boils. I often make a chicken casserole dish with tomato sauce.

-Chop a couple of onions and fry with a bit of olive oil till translucent. Add chicken pieces (thighs, legs, breasts or a whole chicken in pieces all do) and continue stirring for a a few minutes. I like to add cumin and garlic too. Also, you can add green peppers, not the hot kind.

-Add a couple of tins of tomatoes, a glass of water and close the lid. Cook until done, check that it doesn't dry out.

Serve with chips and if your toddler likes little green bits, add parsley. Mine tends to make yucky faces with anything leafy...

here's a recipe for glutren free gnocchi, I think you can omit the parmesan without problems. They are a nice alternative to pasta dishes I think
