Suggestions needed to tempt the appetite of post-d&v-bug child . . .

Looking for ideas for dd, who is 5. She's just recovering from a tummy bug, and is fairly limited in what she can eat. She stopped being sick on Mon morning, ans since then has had some plain yoghurt with rosehip syrup, and a bit of toast with honey.
Normally she loves pasta, and that is one of her "recovery foods" but when i tried it on Sunday night (after 18 hours sick-free and she was asking for pasta) it really set her back. What else could I try tomorrow? she doesn't like scrambled egg, and I want to keep her off dairy for another day or so.
Also, any ideas for building-up type foods? She had a tummy-bug just about a month ago, and hadn't regained all the weight she lost then, so this one has really knocked her back, and she's really thin now .
She's drinking loads, but nearly all water, which she prefers to juice, so no energy input there either!
Was thinking of trying smoothies? All suggestions appreciated.

soup
Heinz tomato was my fave when ill
maybe cheese sandwich to perk her up?

oh that's nasty
i would say to be cautiously led by her as to what she might fancy
you're wise to steer clear of dairy for now tbh
i usually keep mine on a fairly plain diet ie toast,b&b etc til they can keep it down
TMI but you understand lol
and then ease them back into their usual diet
of course they won't have had much for a few days but believe me once they get back on they're feet they make up for it!
you have my sympathy!

DD even went of petit filous which she'll normally cross the city for, but would try jam on toast (no butter) and a ripe pear.

my favourite post-D&V food was always Bovril on toast. Not everyone's idea of nice, I know, but it seemed to work for me - Bovril being restorative and full of B vitamins and all.

Honey and toast was good too but Bovril always better.

Maybe a bit of stewed apple?

I second pears as a good option - easily digested and nice and juicy too for rehydration.
Egg is actually quite a good thing for after a tummy bug I've found - hard boiled, though, not a greasy fried one!
Avocado, if it's liked by DD, is also very easy to eat and mild. Try it spread on a rice cake.
I don't think it's a bad thing that's she drinking plenty of water as this will rehydrate her nicely. Smoothies is an idea but beware of giving too many as that much fruit in one go might make her tummy a bit gurgly.

Ta for ideas - we normally ride these things out quite happily. She's one of these children who has a "trampoline stomach" - if something goes in that doesn't agree with her, it comes straight back up. However, normally if she's sick, it's a one off and she's fine a few hours later.
These long-lasting tummy bugs have thrown us a bit. She had some cereal this morning, and is going to have a "bashed" egg (chopped up hard-boiled) for lunch, so heading in the right direction!
Thanks for all replies.
