DS making pizza at school - how to carry home?

So it doesn't end up too squashed. He will be coming home on bus. It's his first cookery lesson. Don't know of any containers suitable but did consider asking local takeaway if I could buy a box from them. Am also wondering about future lessons - we used to use baskets when I was at school but somehow can't see an 11 yo boy with one of those. Any ideas appreciated. TIA

at 11 year old boy with a basket! What about a large circular tupperware box? The kind you store cakes in? Or a cake tin for that matter. Maybe not if its a floral print though!

Thanks for good ideas. Just tried cake tin & a Quality Street tin from Xmas but just too small or would have been ideal. Have loads of tupperware but nothing that size. Still thinking...

sit it on a baking tray and wrap with foil?

When we did this in school 18 years ago we made and decorated the box in the lesson before

Am now thinking about a roasting tin - without the glass lid! or maybe go out and buy a bigger tin of Quality Street & use thatlol

should be okay just wrapped in foil wouldn't it? when my ds(16) started cookery we had to buy so many containers!

I bet a takeaway would sell you a box for a few pence you know.

you're worrying about how he will get it home?
in my experience you'll be lucky to see one piece! If he doesn't eat it all before the end of school everyone on the bus will finish it!
