Who is 'we'? If it includes a DP then they should be the one doing it!

Nice plain pasta with just a bit of oil/ butter, salt and pepper?

"we" means me and dd who is 4. Even going into the kitchen seems to have an effect on me. Part of me is hungry and the other part is blargh. I know i can make dd soup and a cheese sandwich (which she would be very very happy about) but i also know we need to eat properly. Just difficult when the hugging the toliet seems to be what im doing today.

Bum. What about something easy like the cheese sandwich, and some raw veggie sticks/ piece of fruit to just nibble on slowly through the evening? FWIW, my entire fruit intake for several weeks in the first trimester consisted of fruit pastilles

fruit is not an issue lol. In the past week i have spent £70 on fruit alone. Had to stock up again today

I would go with something that doesn't need much cooking - i know you want to eat properly but remember morning sickness normally passes at 12 weeks.

Is there no one close by who can help out maybe they could make you some yummy dinners and you could freeze them so when you feel real bad you have something to stick in the microwave!

Also if you are eating plenty fruit i would worry too much - fruit is great for you when your making a baby

Yes, maybe someone could make a big stak of spag bol for you and you could freeze it in individual portions for your DD.

For tonight though, maybe plain pasta mixed with tuna, sweetcorn and broccoli? I know my two would love that.

Also, maybe get a few things that can just be put in the oven. Fish fingers (for eg) won't do your DD any harm once or twice a week at the moment while you get over this horrible period.

Well i just got on with it and made a really nice jamaican jerk chicken and it was so tastey. Gonna freeze the rest on days when i feel like this

My mother had a Garlic & Banana omlette, although that may have been later on in the "cravings" stage.
