Lasagna for tea tomorrow...

OK, am not the best at cooking, but am one of those 'I love cooking so let's throw it all in a pan and hope for the best' types !! I have a nice recipe for lasagna and as we have friends coming over for tea tomorrow thought it would be a good fail-safe option (thought I'd make a meat one and a veggie one). I'd like to make it tonight so that all I have to do tomorrow is pop it in the oven with the garlic bread, throw together a salad and put it on the table.

So... do I cook the lasagna as I would to eat it today then just re-heat or do I make the sauces etc, assemble the lasagna, but not cook it and then actually cook it tomorrow? (If that makes any sense! )

Many thanks in advance!

I quite often do lasagne and pre the day before so I would cook today, assemble tomorrow, meat bolognaise tastes especially nice if you do it this way. To make it even easier use fresh lasagne sheets or dry sheets but don?t bother part cooking them first it?s a pain and you don?t need to do it.

Personally I would cook it as though I was eating it today and then put in fridge to then heat through in oven tomorrow. as a bonus, I think it always tastes better the next day!

Thanks for the replies!! So, as you both do it differently, I suppose I can't go too far wrong! That makes things easier!! I was worried that if I cooked it, then re-heated it tomorrow it might get too brown on the top, but I suppose I could leave the cheese off if I cooked it tonight, then add it tomorrow when re-heating.

Thanks again!!
