Are they still ok for mash? Or bound for the compost bin?

grow more potatoes from them!

misshardbroom · 09/01/2010 12:04

I would compost them. Life is too short.

PinkPussyCat · 09/01/2010 12:05

Done that already, Mitchy!

Just can't be arsed to go out to Tesco in snow. In need of a virtuous 'leftovers' type recipe...

Too late now but you can prevent them sproutng by putting an apple in with the potatos

LetThereBeRock · 09/01/2010 15:05

Compost bin. It isn't safe to eat sprouted potatoes.

lizziemun · 09/01/2010 15:13

Sprouted potatoes are ok just cut of the sprouty bits.

Katisha · 09/01/2010 15:15

I think they'd be fine to eat.

But you could always boil them up and give them to the birds.

bounty007 · 09/01/2010 15:18
