Puff pastry: do I freeze these or keep them in an airtight box?

In an idle moment, and with the oven on, I decided to roll out the puff pastry and cut out and bake circles, which will have tomato and goat cheese on for Christmas day lunch. I don't know why I didn't just do the whole thing on the day as it took about 10 mins, but now they are done, do I stick them in the freezer (and will they go soggy) or will they be ok in an airtight box until Friday???

They will definitely go soggy in the freezer. I'd go for the airtight box and cross your fingers. If there is nothing else in with them that is slightly damp you might be in with a chance.

Thanks. Though that sounds a bit ominous. Am I going to have to go out tomorrow and buy some more puff pastry, do you think [please don't make me go to Tesco again emoticon!]

I have just made Delia's sausages with puff pastry and she recommends that you put them in the freezer UNCOOKED and take them out as and when you need them to retain their crispiness. If Delia says it's ok for sausage rolls, it should be ok for your tartlets.

Ah but Snicker has already cooked hers.

I've made very similar before (as practice for Xmas!) and have kept the leftovers in the fridge for a day or so, until all eaten - they've never gone off

Well, they are still ok. Reckon they'll be fine with a topping and bunged in the oven tomorrow morning - what's the worst that can happen??
