Try frozen plum pudding - fabulous, if a bit time-consuming (you have to soak fruits in booze overnight, and make - and cool - custard).
If you fancy giving it a go, recipe as follows, you may be able to find simpler ones by googling 'frozen christmas pudding'.
My mum's recipe for this is:
fruits:
1 heaped tablespoon each of:
chopped glace cherries
chopped angelica
chopped crystalised ginger
chopped crystalised pineapple
sultanas
currants
(if you can't get all of these, or can't be bothered with them all, just increase the ones you like - but the colours look pretty)
SOAK these overnight in 1/2pt sweet white wine
also in the evening, make confectioner's custard:
3 egg yolks
4oz castor sugar
1oz flour
1/2 pint milk
make batter with eggs, sugar and flour, heat the milk and whip into the batter. Then in a bowl over a saucepan of water, stir until the mixture is smooth and thick. Leave to cool with a piece of wet clingfilm or greaseproof paper on the surface to stop the skin forming.
Next morning:
Whip 1/2 pint cream until stiff
Mix cream and custard together
strain the liquid from the fruit, and mix the fruit into the custard/cream
Freeze until about 15 mins before required (not sure of timing for this, but it's best when just slightly beginning to thaw - really creamy).
And of course it lasts beyond Christmas day, if you can resist it...
