Christmas dinner for loan carnivore

Since we are now 75% veggie chez Janeite, I'm wondering if it's worth dp having anything meaty for Christmas dinner. I normally get a small turkey crown thing or roast a chicken, for dp and dd2 - but dd2 is veggie now too.

Can anybody think of anything that's easy to make and doesn't involve much touching of meat? Or something that I can buy and just heat through? Or should I just persuade him to have a veggie Christmas?

Tia.

Oh flip - I meant LONE carnivore in the thread. Was distracted by idiotic dp doing a Harry Hill impression.

are you borrowing a carnivore?

Poussin, just bung it in the oven for a while.

I do a chicken breast (and I wear rubber gloves while I am preparing it) stuffed with brie and wrapped in prosucctio ham(sp?) Wrap in baking paper to stop al cheese melting away. Tis delish

ummmmmm - this sounds a perfect situation for him to - make his own Christmas dinner?

I think, offer him a fully vegetarian feast made for him, or he can buy and do his own. Are you going to visit a carnivorous household over the holidays where he can have a turkey sandwich or two?

Could you get him an individual beef Wellington,or salmon en croute or similar? Then you don't have to touch the meat?

Duck breast. Tasty, kinda special so could feel Christmassy, right portion for one (hungry) meat eater, easy to cook.

He will be helping to cook and will probably make the dauphinoisse potatoes - but he's not a confident cook, so if left to him, he'd probably buy an P&S steak pie!

at Mitchie.

Thanks for the ideas so far.
