I am wanting to do the jars or Cookie or Cake mix for Christmas presants for my nieces and nephews.

I need a recipe that once they have cooked it they wll be able to ice and decorate the Cakes or Biscuits they have made.
I have already brought them each some edible glitter and cute sprinkles to match thier hobbies.
I didn't want to just do fairy cakes though becuase then t would literally be just Flour and Sugar in the Jars and my sisters would have to provide Butter, Eggs and Milk which they would be happy to do but seems like a bit of a cop out? Anyone got any ideas?

What do they put in those boxes of cake mix you can buy? I'm sure you only add an egg or oil or something. Maybe check out the ingredients....?

Anymore suggestions keep them coming,i was hopig to find a recipe that i could have dried fruit or nuts in to make the layers in the jars look a bit more exciting, maybe some chocolae chips or something?

pelicanbayltd.3dcartstores.com/Specials_c_114.html This place does them (I found one by chance in tkmaxx last year) I bet you could have a browse and find out what ingresiants you could use.
The one we had was in a big glass jar it was called pink princess cookies, it was a white choc and cranberry mix and had a small wooden spoon tied to the top with a big bow. It was lovley :-)
