Is it to line it with cling?

Is it to grease the mould?

Or is there a secret trick?

Warm it a little to loosen it. Steam or warm water should do the trick. not long enough to melt it though of course.

Put it over a hot bowl of water for a few seconds to loosen it slightly, or line moulds with grease proof paper

Ok

I am making a chocolate plate/bowl

So I thought to put cling on the inside of the bowl I want to use & then building it up a layer at the time?

Or am I on the wrong track?

The cling film would have to be very flat otherwise the chocolate may set with cling film stuck in it.

Use a chefs blow torch to warm the outside of the bowl - just a quick blast.

Katymac · 15/11/2009 10:34

Is there a better way?

Maybe a metal bowl?

Well it's made & it looks OK - I guess it could be better but I did the best I could

is it out the mould? what did you do?

Katymac · 15/11/2009 16:27

I did cling inside a bowl

It came out OK - it's a bit thin at the bottom but it is only having croissants & pain au chocolate in

too late, but for future reference drying the mould really well first with cotton wool dipped in cornflour really helps.

MayorNaze · 15/11/2009 16:44

cool

Katymac · 15/11/2009 23:42

The mould is a cereal bowl

Ah well it's done now
