Portable puddings?

We're off to stay with a friend this weekend, a 3 hour drive away. I said I'd bring a pudding, so suggestions please for a nice pud that will survive the motorway!

take meringues, a pint of cream and some fruit and assemble a pavlova or Eton Mess when you get there

or make a cake and take it in the tin you baked it in - there's a good chocolate cake on here somewhere

Great minds, as soon as I posted I thought, oooh eton mess cos it doesn't matter if it gets bashed in the car!!

Delia's Choc Bread and Butter pudding is great.

You make it a day before, layer it all up and pop in the fridge, and then take it with you and pop it in the oven at your destination for 40mins.
I have done this quite a number of times, and have found it pretty indestructible!

Just thinking about it is making me hungrey!
