probably a stoopid question
Making a lentil (dried) dish from MN recipe - stock, lentils, ham and marrow.
If I put it in fridge can I reheat it tomorrow for the DCs?
Am a lentil virgin, don't know how we stand on pulse poisoning?

never heard of pulse poisoning but have made soups with lentils in which have been re-heated over and over and eaten.

As a veggie who rarely eats actual veg and lives on pules (lentils are a favourite), I've never heard of pulse poisoning and have never had it! And I am a huge fan of reheating everything and making freezable foods. I commonly will make huge batches of lentil soup and freeze/reheat at will!

Lentils are awesome.

I think I am just thinking of kidney beans am I? If you have dried ones don't you have to boil them for three mnths to get rid of a toxin?
or have I made that up too?

You'll be fine - if anything is a problem it will be the ham, but not in the course of 24 hours I'm sure.

Kidney beans you do have to soak and boil for a certain length of time - makes you wonder how people worked it out in the first place. Of used tinned kidney beans!

Sorry, "or used tinned kidney beans"!
