Average food. Hugely overpriced.

Yes?

Yes. Actually anywhere that has mass catering is generally a bit shit isn't it.

If you want to do it better, just go to waitrose and eat on the way round

Absolutley!

Have you been to the Cardiff one today?

I always think it will be great but end up hugely disappointed at how expensive things are and how difficult it is to see things with a little one in a pushchair so I've decided not to bother going this year!

I still reckon going round Waitrose with a napkin under your chin, insisting the staff enthuse about the chelsea buns and antipasta is the way to go

I enjoyed the TASTE festival in Edinburgh - tried some great food and lots of give-aways

Yes it was the Cardiff one. To be fair we've been to the Soil Association festival in Bristol a couple of times and it's great. Huge place, loads of free tasters.

The Cardiff one today was just cramped and uninteresting.

And sooo expensive.

And I had some paella which was overcooked. Was more like mush. DS and I had a laugh about me feeding him mush like a baby.

If any of the Mumsnetters are in the Birmingham Area, try the Farmers Market in the Jewellery Quarter on the 17th September.
Went to the 1st one a couple of weeks ago and it was excellent.
