Yep thats what Im having for dinner! Not something I normally eat, but clearly baby wants it so thats what Im having.

I have eggs, cheese, tomato, red onion and ham.

Any suggestions on how not to make a big sloppy undercooked/burnt stuck to pan mess would be good

soften onion off in a pan.. whizz up eggs.. I personally don't use milk. throw eggs in pan.. whizz up a bit.. artistically throw in other stuff.. take off heat and bung under a grill to finish off

lightly fry the onion in a little oil. Then toss in the tomatoes and stir and add the ham (depending on how cooked you want your tomoatoes to be). Then add your beaten egg to the pan and let it settle a bit, before doing the flicking half over thing for a minute before eating.

This is the Bling version of Jamie Oliver's version!

Omelettes - so quick and easy and tasty!

I fry up whatever I want in it (eg mushrooms, onion, tomatoes). Then in a separate little frying pan I put some butter/little oil and then the beaten egg. I leave it to cook for a bit (2mins ish) until it is almost cooked through (a lid helps with this) then add my mushrooms/tomatoes etc plus a bit of cheese to half of the omelette and fold the other top over them. Then I let it cook for a little bit more (until the cheese has melted basically) and voila! Fabulous.

I do it by having a nice hot pan, throwing in things that need longer to cook (onions, mushrooms) then pouring over three whisked eggs. I let it start cooking then pull the edges in towards the middle, tipping the pan so the uncooked egg runs out, and repeating until it is almost set opn top. Add the cheese, and anything turn a third in to the muddle on both sides, and serve.

Omlettes are also really nice with a few cumin seeds chucked in with the onions and some paprika in the whisked egg.

ooh, I frgot the cheese bit. During the flicking over stage, sprinkle the cheese first.

great thanks

so cook the ham onion and toms first, then add the egg mixture, then sprinkle cheese before flipping
