Would you be upset if your child comes back from playdate saying...

...that he's had a Nutella sandwich?

(aware about nut allergy of course)

just wondering what one should give to children that come for playdates, that's all. Especially when they run out of energy and start bickering etc. I found that that works a treat sometimes and everyone likes it etc.(most children that come here do not eat fruit or veg for some reasons).

Ah you see I would much prefer a crisp sandwich - yum! I don't like nutella, but a prawn cocktail floured crisp sandwich, mmmm!

Must admit... a crisp sandwich is not bad. But I'd never crave one.

Crisp sandwiches, WHY did someone have to mention crisp sandwiches? No crisps in the house, dc in bed, and dh out. Can you get crisps delivered at this time of night?

The nutella I wouldn't care about at all.

when mine have fiends over for dinner, I ask the visiting friend what they would like, within reason, from my store.............and whatever they choose is (unless otherwise specified by the mum re - allergies etc), is what they have.

normally tis pizza, fishfingers, pasta and chips (all on the table and they help themselves).

is that not what 'playdates' are for??

ok, not fiends really, altho maybe the mistake WAS subliminally(sp?) intentional
