Your eating habits,

Two questions for you all, simply to satisfy my own curiosity.

  1. Do you eat more in the early part of the day or in the evening? When is your appetite strongest?

And are there any other breakfast haters out there?

Ideally if left to my own devices I won't eat breakfast and my first meal will be around 2-3pm.

The thought of breakfast in the morning just does not appeal. Though for some reason I can eat it while on holiday, but normally I can't imagine eating anything in the am.

I have a big appetite in the evening though. I can eat one thing after another, though I try to just eat healthy snacks then.

And I know you should eat breakfast but I just can't do it. I feel worse if I force myself to eat it than I do when I go without.

I always have breakfast as I find it gets my metabolism going and I feel a bit dizzy and sick if I don't as my school run involves a 20 minute uphill walk at a fast pace due to leaving too late, lol

I never manage to eat little and often and have abig evening meal with wine ususally

lunch is a sandwich, no salad for me!

I always eat breakfast, it is just habit really as I could easily go without it. I tend to sit down and eat something then as I try to get DS (9 months)to have breakfast too.

I tend to be hungriest around lunchtime, I tend to eat dinner just because it is there, but I could snack all evening if i'm bored!

Was a breakfast hater until mid 20s, when had blood sugar issues, so forced myself to eat porridge upon waking. Now in my early 30s it has become a habit, and I couldn't not have my big bowl of porridge/muesli & yoghurt with fruit first thing.

I tend to eat a decent breakfast, survive on coffee and water until lunch, small-ish lunch, have a dip about 4/5pm where I have to have a healthy snack prepared or I reach for the biscuits, then a big dinner. My danger time is 8-9pm, if I'm watching telly or reading. I crave chocolate and can polish off 2-3 bars of it, so really have to be careful...

Oh, and no matter what or how I eat, I must have a big plate of food for dinner (evening), or I feel grumpy

God I can't face the world without brekky and a cup of tea, no way. Blardy hell though, 2pm is an awful long time to go without eating anything - I would be passing out.

I eat breakfast, sandwiches at lunchtime and usually have my tea by 5.30pm to 6pm. Then I don't eat anything else after that. But have gallons of wine.

I really have never been able to do breakfast. When working full time I would have my first food of the day at lunchtime, and I have always enjoyed a big lunch. It's so nice to be properly hungry before you eat. The thought of eating first thing makes me queasy.

Eating an hour or two after getting up is probably about right - which is why I can eat breakfast on holiday as it's not such a rush and by the time you go to breakfast you've been up for a while.

Plus a proper cooked breakfast is always tempting - cereal makes me want to hurl and toast is so dull...

I always eat a huge proper meal in the evening.

Don't snack at all either. Don't understand the women in the office who at the massive jacket spud or whatever I'm having for lunch, as they eat their tiny salads, then they start wolfing down crsips and biscuits and shite at 3, WTF is that all about?

I usually make the family (including me) some oats for breakfast and it usually keeps me and the kids going until my DD gets back from nursery at 12.

Usually lunch is a quick snack like yoghurt, fruit or sarnie and we usually sit down to an early dinner ...

I try to not eat after 7 at night ...
