I ask because I genuinely wonder what others do? I read this article which said that washing produce in cold water did not get rid of any sprayed nasties and that you have to do it in hot water which of course would semi cook them. You can buy these veg cleaners (I think they are like washing up liquid although have never seen them) which clean off the sprays. Anybody use these?
Also some fruits taste horrible after washing, like raspberries, all water logged.
Any ideas? This is bothering me.
