I heard about this on the radio this morning. Aparently... the book is of recipes only made with 4 or less ingredients. It is coming from Australia where it is a big hit.

Han anyone used it? Is it any good? Why didn't I think of this??

I've seen it on telly and it didn't look like something you'd depend upon for a balanced diet or to impress anyone. Admittedly I haven't read the book, but the four ingredients certainly weren't Jerusalem artichokes, tuna steaks, avocados and haloumi. From what I saw it had quite a seventies vibe - heavy on the baked beans and cheese slices.

I heard that you can make a fruit cake with 3 ingredients...

butter
flour
er... fruit?

Yes it's two mad Australian women - they were on the BBC news about 3 weeks ago I think with it and they are bringing another one out. Don't know if it's any good. Maybe there is something on the BBC website about it.

These two look like they are having a blast! I have to admire their selling skills - I assume they were in sales or media before they did this.

I saw them on a tv programme recently - seem very enthusiastic! - what they don't mention of course is that you also need rice/pasta/spuds etc and veggies to accompany whatever it is in the recipe...

I think the bit in their website inviting people to submit recipes which they will use in their future is very cheeky!

2 pieces of bread
butter
banana

voila... banana sandwich
