no milk protest?

I had been blessed with a dd who ate almost everything and drunk her bottles although only about 5floz a time, suddenly she has started to not want to eat and refuses to drink her bottles, today she drank nothing. As she is 10 months and has only just started to sleep through the night I am really worried as for the last 3 nights she refused her evening bottle and so is waking up during the night.

Grandma has been with us for 3 weeks and left yesterday, I wondered whether it is a protest as she was giving dd her food and drink. Am I crazy to think this or has anyone else experienced something like this?

I think that's very likely. I don't recall my children being quite as obvious as this but they certainly often behaved very badly following a visit from relatives.

Perhaps you could try putting the milk in a cup (if you haven't already). Something a bit different might interest her again. I'm sure she'll come round soon; hvs always say "they'll never starve themselves". Nice that she has such a good bond with Grandma.

Hiya
My 16month old is really not into her milk these days. She much prefers to be eating. so I make up her milk allowance by making her mashed potato with a lot of milk in it, or you can buy HIPP organic potato flakes with rosemary that you make with all milk. I also give her angel delight a lot as part of her dessert. I let her snack on cheese and make home made yoghurts with natural yoghurt with fresh fruit pureed and added in. Just a few suggestions if you're worried by her not taking enought milk. I also use that Guernsey & Jersy creamy milk now.
