For a face, to have small amounts of other colours piped onto it to look like Mr Tumble.

Anyone any idea as bc always looks yellow-y to me

Thanks

I needed some "flesh colour" paste for the cake I am going to attempt at the weekend - the cake shop gave me paprika. Could you not add a tiny bit to the buttercream?

assuming you have some of course !!

Could you use a teeny tiny bit of red colouring to give it a pinky tinge?

lucysmam · 01/04/2009 14:13

good idea, will give it a whirl with a bit that's left from the footy pitch I made yesterday before making up any new & knowing my luck wrecking it!

That little shop's fab btw, will be back again soon for some more bits I thinks

I did reply to you on the other thread - but you had obviously gone to bed!

Am glad you found the shop (even though you walked past it a few times ). Lakeland is fab isn't it?

his nose & cheeks are quite red, (am watching him at the mo with the lo )I wondered if maybe it would be overload of pinky colours if I put red in.

But I've enough bc left to try out both ways & see which is better

I could have spent hours in Lakeland! But myself and my oh are coming to York again next weekend for a peaceful wander so will be in there again for a proper look around & see what else I can pick up then
