hi, sorry been busy with people over for the rugby

I have to admit we've done nothing to it other than the ganache and eating it

my ganache has managed to be different each time so I've not idea what I'm doing differently - am looking for a recipe for white chocolate frosting to try to thicken it up a bit

will let you know if I find one but please let me know how you get on with the raspberry jam

PlumBumMum · 23/03/2009 10:03

Raspberry jam was lovely, dh preferred this way

I poured my ganache on, only left in fridge for 10/15 mins, although did have to put cake in fridge for awhile and ganache hardened up,

glad it turned out well for you

you've made me laugh as I made hummingbird cakes yesterday and my DH couldn't have one because they've pinapple in them and he's allergic, will have to make another mudcake for him soon and shall try it with raspberry jam too
