Will half a pear be ok in the fridge overnight?

Without going brown & funny looking like an apple would?

The lo only had a few bits of it this evening before bed & it seems a shame to waste it since it was a big one of ours & not one of her own tiny sainsbury's basics ones

Thanks

babyOcho · 17/03/2009 20:32

bamboostalks · 17/03/2009 20:32

Is this a wind up?

duckyfuzz · 17/03/2009 20:33

yes it will be fine, saving it is good, rather than wasting it

lucysmam · 17/03/2009 20:33

lol, nope it's just I don't see the point throwing it when she'll want one tomorrow morning anyway

I saved half a pear yesterday. I put it in a box but have to admit the flesh was a bit brown today.

DS2 (a slinger) flipped it in the air and it landed by the cat. Ah well it was worth that second try..

lucysmam · 17/03/2009 20:40

lmao. did the cat eat it??

Why don't you eat it yourself as it was one of your pears?

lucysmam · 17/03/2009 20:48

not in a pear mood! I want sweeties rather than fruity sweetness if that makes sense

Although another bacon butty would be just as good!
