I dont mean literally. But i am having bad problems with my 6yr old and 2 yr old boys, my youngest is worse, he was still having a bottle for breakfast, as he wont eat cereals, or porridge (including flavoured) he isnt a fruit love either and wont drink normal milk. He is just as bad for lunch barely eats a sandwich. And dinners can be a nightmare, but he always enjoys his yoghurt for pudding, other than that they just want to eat rubbish, my eldest has special needs so he doesnt understand and neither does my 2yr old. If anyone had the same trouble and know of and recipes or ideas that worked please help me

can you invent "pizzas"(and let the kids join in doing their own) - we use decent pitta breads, the dc decorate their own with tomato puree, cheese, bacon bits and red peppers, onions, celery, whatever's in the fridge. they love sprinkling stuff on, and they have no idea how good it is for them

btw small children and breakfasts is just one of the trials of being a parent.... i have two who couldn't care less if they never had breakfast and reluctantly eat either a bowl of weetabix or a muesli bar, and dd still has rusks at 3.4yo

btw, mine eat morrisons "honey hoops" cereal - dry as well. allegedly they have a decent amount of actual grain cereal in them. I hope that the manufacturers tell the truth!

My DD (4) refuses milk on her cereal. She is quite happy to eat almost any sort of cereal as long as she can have it dry. It takes hours to eat, and there's usually enough left-overs on the floor for a second helping, but at least she is having something for breakfast.
