I think they would too.

pinkspottywellies · 12/03/2009 21:02

no

Cadelaide · 12/03/2009 21:11

Oh, SEA, why did I come back to this thread?

I had just made a decision about something I've spent far too much time dithering over already and then you come along and mess everything up

maybe do an experiement and have one wrapped one not and carry them around in your bag all day.

Cadelaide · 12/03/2009 21:23

Do not carry a buttered cream cracker unwrapped in your handbag!

pinkspottywellies · 12/03/2009 21:38

Have you got any cheese spread triangles? You could put them in with unbuttered crackers. Probably not helpful at this time of night, sorry!

Sparkler · 12/03/2009 21:40

This thread is making me laugh - I can relate to it. Many a time my DDs have moaned at me for having soggy crackers in their lunchboxes!!

random · 12/03/2009 21:40

foil is the way to go ...unless there is some mn campaign againt foil wrappimg lunches Ive missed

Cadelaide · 12/03/2009 21:47

But isn't it the butter that makes them soft?

OP posts:
theheadgirl · 12/03/2009 22:25

IMO butter doesn't make em soft, but 'lite' margarines do, cos they have a high water content.

Cadelaide · 13/03/2009 12:55

Interesting headgirl, very informed, I see how you got your name.

I shall experiment with butter.

have just checked with dd who regularly takes them in her lunchbox (2 of them, sandwiched with Clover, wrapped in clingfilm), and she assures me they are still crunchy.

Cadelaide · 14/03/2009 12:15

Thanks misshardbroom, solid evidence.
