Soup storage suggestions

I never usually make soup, but have just made a batch of this one. It's yummy, and I'm inspired to cook soup more often What's the best way to store it though? Not sure that I want to have to freeze it in one big tub all as that would mean defrosting it and eating it all in one go.

Should I just get several of these? Is there another cunning storage method I'm not thinking of?

I use plastic takeaway containers, which are just the right size for one portion. - I bought them from Lakeland but they are sometimes available in pound shops

Empty plastic milk cartons are effective and free

Good idea! I like the fact that they could be easily stacked. Are they microwaveable?

Line a bowl with a plastic food bag and fill with soup. Freeze and remove the bowl when frozen. Perfect portions every time (ha, I sound like a Waitrose ad...)

Ooooh that's a good tip too!

yep, takeaway cartons are microwaveable. at least the ones I have are. I always have plenty of soup in the freezer - if nothing else is what I make with the ends of my veg box!
