Toddler lunches

I am starting to struggle finding inspiration for everyday lunches for my 16month DD. She is a very good eater, but we seem to have sandwhiches everyday and i really would like to start giving her newer things (especially if they can be made then frozen)
I was wondering what you mnetters feed your toddlers for lunch? Any suggestions gratefully received

Beans on toast
Scrambled Eggs
Savoury muffins (very freezable)
Drop scones (like mini fat pancakes) with savoury fillings
Toasted pittas filled with cheese, grated carrot, spinach etc.
Pasta with peas & cream cheese
Cheese on toast
Houmous with things to dip in - veg, breadsticks etc.

I do worry a little about salt levels. Is houmous ok?

Microwave jacket spud with various toppings (Tuna and sweetcorn makes for an interesting nappy)
Pasta with brocoli and cheese
cauliflower cheese

Oooh yes I forgot soup, DD LOVES soup with bread for dipping - messy, but she's in her element.

As for salt - everything in moderation. As long as it isn't every day I don't see much harm. There's salt in bread, baked beans etc. etc. (unless you make your own) so just try and balance it out with things you have made that you know don't have salt.

book marking.

ds usually ends up with a glass of milk a banana a yoghurt and some fruit

When you say very thick soup do you mean practically solid?
Looking at these i am thinking "oh yeah, i used to give her eggy bread/scrambled egg/pasta etc" but for some reason it seems to have gone out the window and we have been having mostly sandwiches. Its nice to know what others feed their toddlers as i do tend to think "is this ok for 16months?" Because lots of people i know still feed their's jars of food but dd has been very independant for a while and hates to be fed. Thank you for the ideas

ridiculous to still be feeding a toddler those revolting jars of condensed dishwater. Sandwiches far nicer!

I totally agree, and one of her favourites (shock, horror) peanut butter! I have tried her with the bowls of toddler food when we have been out and she refused to touch them. She had deep fried calamari in batter the other day that dh gave her, she ate all the batter off and gave the cold slimy piece of calamari back to dh!

Try fish fingers - my 11-month-old loves them.
