Cooked, frozen gammon - is it ok and what can we do with it?

At Christmas, we cooked a large gammon on Christmas Eve. My mum was round and ended up doing most of the cooking because I was ill. The gammon was put in the fridge after it had cooled on Christmas Eve and then half put in the freezer either on Christmas Day or Boxing Day - can't quite remember.

My first question is - is it still okay to eat?

My second question is - what the hell do I do with it? Aside from eating it cold with chips, I'm stuck!!

Any advice very welcome!!

Hi - it should still be ok - would use soon though. I have used defrosted cooked ham chopped up in a ham & pea risotto, or a variation on a carbonara sauce for pasta - v quick if you make with half fat creme fraiche? HTH
