How much food does your 2 year old eat?

My dd who is 2.5 and always been a fantastic eater seems to have gone on a hunger strike! This has been going on now for a couple of weeks and I don't know why.

She seems healthy enough and is very active. I am constantly offering her food and asking if she wants anything but all she will says yes to are sweets or chocolate (which obviously aren't given as an option). Today for example, she has eaten, a small handfull of blueberries, half a rusk, half a banana, about 2 desert spoons of mash potato and maybe 3 or 4 pieces of carrot. She hardly drinks anything either which worries me more. She will always drink a full cup of milk at bedtime and I pop a teaspoon of horlicks in it, but thats all she's consumed today.

Should I be worried or should I leave her too it and let her eat when she's ready? I'm also getting a bit fed up of throwing food away, what a waste!

DS1 ate loads when he was 2 good breakfast - cereals, milk, toast then 8oz bottle of full fat milk
hot lunch with pudding
afternoon snack
evening meal good portion - always with pudding

HOWEVER
DS2 is now 2 - he always does well at breakfast 2 bowls of cereals at least. 8oz bottle milk
lunch - if it is soup he will eat 2 bowls and some bread if it is anything else he will eat very very little maybe one mouthful
afternoon snack - maybe an orange or apple
evening meal, if it is cottage pie we are onto a winner (but not if you serve it at lunch!?!?!?) lasange or couscous but that is it.

If he wasn't following the centile line on the charts I would be worried.

It couldn't be the last teeth could it? My dd (2.8) was the same recently and I fretted until I noticed the teeth coming through.

ds (2.4 years) has a bowl of cereal and a cup of milk or juice at breakfast. He has a fruity snack around 10/10.30am (banana, grapes, satsuma, etc) along with a drink. For lunch it is usually a sandwich and a drinky yoghurt. He tends to have a snack around 3pm when we go to get dd from school and then dinner is at 5pm. Dinner can be a bit hit and miss especially if it is pasta as he is not that keen - he will eat the cheese garnish and garlic bread and a couple of bits of pasta. He then has a cup of milk and a hovis biscuit before bed.

Today ds1 (2.9) has eaten half an oatibix, some breadsticks, half a slice of toast and peanut butter, and a yoghurt. That is quite typical.

He won't eat veg (unless hidden in pasta sauce), any fruit except bananas and raspberries, potatoes, rice, or meat. Only eats pasta on a good day.

I never thought about teeth, I just assumed she had them all! Will have a look. I think a lot of it is also because she is too busy to eat. I have posted in the behaviour topic about how I am trying to train her to sit at the table and eat without getting down and running around. Not too bad when you are at home but awful if you are eating out, its just not worth the hassle! She now has lunch and tea at the table and just plays with it.
