I was going to do chicken curry with naan and chilli lemon flat breads and soft toblerone pudding, but, I don't know.

DH is soooooooooooooooo fussy and if he doesn't like ANY part of it, he will complain and not eat it and ruin the night. I hate living with a fussy eater.

DH have a romantic evening all planned (and it won't include dinner)!!

By which I mean we are going to the football club for a quiz night.

my life's over

MaureenMLove · 10/02/2009 17:50

Oh, but think of the romance you could have over the smell of boozed up men and over perfumed WAGS!

MaggsS · 10/02/2009 18:00

Oh come on candlelit dinner for 2, kids in bed, wine, open-fire...............

Maureen, I'm thinking.... nope, romance is dead

Kbear · 10/02/2009 22:02

well.....

harpomarx · 10/02/2009 22:03

no one boiling a bunny?

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 10/02/2009 22:06

Hmm, now there's a thought, I quite like rabbit...

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 10/02/2009 22:08

No Valentine Dinner in the Cheeses household.

Wales are playing England.

So romantic dinner is out.

DS earlier asked if we were all going out for Valentines. I explained DH was "otherwise engaged". DS suggested he and I go to the sushi place in town So at least I have a date!

MaggsS · 11/02/2009 05:48

Oh come on everyone.

I can't only be me planning a romantic night in.

As I do all the cooking in our house and I do mean ALL, I was rather hoping my wife might be taking me out for lunch.

I find that slaving over a hot stove is not my idea of romantic. I just want to be pampered and waited on so I can just talk to my wife rather than always dashing off to check whatever is in the oven.

Lizzylou · 11/02/2009 07:34

I think we're having fillet steak, which is always our default treat meal.

Lovemyshoes, like the sound of toblerone pudding! Tell me more...

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/02/2009 07:35

Since DH's nephew has invited him and his girlfiend to stay I have no idea.

MaggsS · 11/02/2009 10:33

Well I have just been to Waitrose and they have a Valentine's meal deal on.

So I have salmon terrine to start, sirlion steak, roasted veg for main and GU chocolate cheesecake dessert.

DH will have to get the wine but not bad for £10
