Eh? Caramel what?

SobranieCocktail · 10/02/2009 13:32

dulce de leche could be used as a caramel sauce. Alternatively, make your own? here

Iklboo · 10/02/2009 13:33

Toffee?

midnightexpress · 10/02/2009 13:33

Did you look with the milk? The powdered adn long-life stuff? In our local sainsbos it's there, next to the evaporated and condensed milk.

bellavita · 10/02/2009 13:33

Due you mean Dulche De Leche? I have had it before (but ordered it online with my shopping). Would suggest it is either with the homebaking ingredients or with the jams/syrups/peanut butter etc.

Right, have just logged on to my Tesco account and found it on the hot puddings/dessert shelf. It is by Merchant Gourmet. By way of hot puddings I think they mean those steamed puddings in a can, trifle mixes etc etc.

What about the caramel sauce in a bottle you can pour over ice cream/desserts? Try net to the miniflakes and cones/wafers for ice creams. Hope this helps. I used to work ins Sains a long time ago.
