I have lost the kneading blade for mine but have just knocked up some foccacia. Just waiting for it to rise now and my arms have had a good 10 minute workout.

There's none left!

The kids loved it.

Making bread is very satisfying (and knackering ) and usually better for being hand-kneaded, I find.
However, what the breadmaker does way, way better than me is brioche. These things are awesome. When I put a mix in the breadmaker, my slavering family cannot wait - they are always hovering around waiting for it to finish. Happily, these brioche loaves are massive - enough for more than a weekend even with my wolf-pack. Since this mix takes 4 eggs and half a pack of butter, I only make one at a weekend - we are a skinny family and it's probably better to stay that way

I will get another one. I just won't bust a gut to get it immediately. Lack of confidence meant I have never tried to hand make bread before. So satisfying when I make something new and the kids love it.

Well done for making the real stuff - hard work but worth it, especially when the DCs love it. Making bread is like alchemy and does impress the family, I find
