will I end up with a softer pink?

Or a marbley bright pink & white mess?

Thanks

softer pink

It'll start off as a marbley mess, but if you keep mixing you'll end up with a softer pink. If you mix 50% pink and 50% white, though, it won't end up as much lighter as you might expect -- a little pink goes a long way.

so if I mix more white with what I have left of the pink it'll eventually get lighter. Thanks, am off to do that in a mo

Add the pink to the white in small amounts.

aaaah, yeah, that's a better idea than just bunging the whole lot together & seeing what I get. Cheers SoupDragon, will do it that way

Fab.

I speak from experience when DD ended up with horrific coloured fairy cakes last year. This year, a single drop of scarlet colouring and delicate baby pink. Still horrific IMO but it's what she wanted
