I saw a great Tales of the Unexpected once where a woman murdered her husband with a frozen leg of lamb then fed it to the policemen who came to investigate. Genius.
Or maybe roast with some rosemary?

My mum has a great recipe.
Make big cuts in the lamb, and poke fresh rosemary into it. Then lay strips of bacon over the top, and cover the whole thing with loads of apricot jam and roast slowly. The jam goes all black, but you just peael it off and the lamb is incredible.

Hey spud I remember that one! I always thought it was a great idea

Erm...cut slits in and add slivers of garlic and rosemary sprigs, season well with salt & peppes and then a nice slow roast till it's done how you like it

Me - in the bin (don't like lamb)
DH - still baa-ing
DS - cooked all through cos he's 3

In a pan, rosemary, garlic and lots of seaning, stick in the oven for a few hours. Add in lots of potatoes too. Yummy!

CatchaStar, that sounded like a Gordon Ramsey suggestion!!!
Except for the 'yummy' at the end!

Deforst. Rub the skin/fat with olive oil. Spike it all over with a knife. Into each hole, put a sliver of garlic and a sprig of rosemary. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Roast for 1 hour 30 minutes (depending on wieght) at 375F/190C. Baste occasionally (ppur a wee bit extra boiling water into the roasting tray the first time to help lift the juices and have enough to baste with).

Leave to rest for 15 minutes.

If wanted, make a gravy with the juices: add water, maybesome bovril/marmite/wine and some flour to the roasting tin and stir on the hob until nice and blended and the flour has "cooked".

Enjoy.

Make a thick paste with butter, breadcrumbs, parsley and lots of garlic. Cover leg of lamb with it and roast. Bloomin gorgeous it is.

This is a lovely slow-cooked recipe...

Greek Style Lamb (Kleftiko)

preheat oven to 160 (140 fan) gas 3.
slash leg all over with sharp knife. Wedge as much garlic as you can into slashes.

In a bowl mix together 3 bay leaves (chopped up), 1/2 tspn cinnamon, 3 tbsp oregano, salt & ground black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the meat.

Wrap whole joint with double thickness of foil to totally seal the meat. Place on oven rack over roasting tin with hot water in. Cook for 2 to 2.5hrs for 1 to 1.7kg joint and 3-4 hrs for joint weighing 1.7 to 2.4kg.

Then remove from oven and open foil and then return to oven to crisp up skin then remove from oven and let stand for 20 mins.

It will be lovely and tender
