Has it got graduations up the side of the bowl?

RGPargy · 01/02/2009 20:21

yes it has. They say 0.2, 0.4 & 0.6 L.

Oh and DP has just told me that on the opposite side it has 1, 2 & 3 cups.

Use the measuring cup to measure the rice then fill up with water to the corresponding mark on the side.

i use boiling water top speed up the process.

oh i see! There's me thinking i put water in underneath where the metal basket thing lifts out.....

Thanx for that!

remember to wash/rinse the rice and to wipe the bottom of the bowl so that it's dry when you stick it in the cooker.

thank you - i will do just that!

Oh one more thing - does it self-time the rice and does it go by weight? I put some brocolli in there yesterday and a little bit of water but it steamed it til it wsa very very soft and would have kept going if i hadn't turned it off!

I'm assuming tho that as rice & water is much heavier, it'll push the bottom down and cook it according to it's weight and then stop??
