Puff pastry squares, topped with tinned fruit and baked makes a nice pud

sausage rolls?

Put slices of apple in the middle and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with sugar, pop in oven for about 15 mins.

Optional extra - Take out of oven, put some fig jam in middle and put back in oven for 5 mins. Yum!

Cheese straws - just roll out and cut into sticks or shapes and top with cheese.

bellabelly · 11/01/2009 13:19

Or puff pastry pizzas.

Tommy · 11/01/2009 13:19

or pesto, a cherry tomato and cheese tart - yum

I love puff pastry - could just eat it on its own [drool]

make cheesy rolls, use cheese instead if sausage(there you go, very quick ),add a little onion if you like.
or you could do chocolate spice puffs.: 2 teaspoons cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon ground mixed spice 2 tablespoons caster sugar, 250g puff pastry, beaten egg to glaze, 125g plain chocolate,2 tablespoons apricot jam ,1 table spoon lemon juice......1) lightly grease baking sheet.mix together cocoapowder, spice and half caster sugar.2)thinly roll out pastry to a 35cm x 2cm rectangle.cut pastry in half and brush each half with egg. scatter one half with cocoa mixture and cover with other piece of pastry. 3) roll pastry lightly untill firmly sandwiched together and pastry is about 2mm thick. 4)cut pastry into 5cm wide strips. cut diagonally across each strip to make diamond shapes. prick with fork.brush with egg and sprinkle with remaining sugar.transfer to baking sheet.5) bake in oven at 200'c,or gas 6 fo about 15 minutes. cool on rack.6)melt the chocolate.dip the edges of the "biscuits" in the chocolate, letting the excess drip back into bowl. leaveto set on greaseproof paper.7)melt jam an small pan and press through a sieve into a bowl.stirr in the lemon juice and use to glase biscuits lightly. these only keep for a day or two ,but seemto vanish quick in my house
