I've got chicken pieces, chopped tomatoes, veg, chorizo, I also want to put a bit of creme fraiche in it, but should I add stock too? Any tips?

i would but the creme fraiche on at the end as a garnish add some smoked paprika too and a bit of chicken stock may be nice with cous cous

I'd definitely put a bit of stock in. And I'd consider throwing him some extra chilli or , along with the paprika suggestion. Creme fraiche definitely at the end, although I think I'd use yoghurt rather than creme fraiche.

Do you have sweet paprika? First fry onions in oil, then add the sweet paprika and garlic, then the chicken, chorizo, red peppers would be lovely too, and chickpeas, plus canned tomatoes. Only add creme fraiche at the end.

I don't know if there's an official or more authentically spanish recipe but I use a bit of stock, otherwise it's too dry and will burn before cooking.

See how it looks when you've got it in the pan?

DH says my veg stew with chorizo is the nicest thing I cook.

Says a lot for the rest of it!!!

Don't know how you feel about Delia but I've used this one and it is really good - no creme fraiche in it though. I use lemons rather than oranges as well.

I love making this, it's really earthy and smoky:

-soften onions and garlic
-brown chicken and add paprika
-Add couple of tins of chopped tomatoes
-another couple of tins of water or stock
-two handfuls of dried split red lentils
-several sliced chorizo
-tin of beans (cannelini/butter etc)
-dashes of worcestershire sauce and balsamic vinegar to make it spicier/sweeter

simmer for at least 30 mins

Always goes down a treat in our house!
Sometimes I subsitute the chicken for sausages for more of a "cassoulet" type thing.

Also, tend to use chicken thighs

Not sure you could add creme fraiche to it though.
