Just bought some of these today, the ones that keep your veg fresh for longer. I know you can reuse them, does anyone know how many times (in reality rather than recommended!).

Also say I bought spinach in a bag, would I put it in one of these bags?

Any other tips?

I've had mine for years and keep reusing them.

I'm not sure if they really work but I stick most stuff from my veg box in them anyway. I've used them for spinach, chard etc.

Thanks for the reply. Should I put the (bagged) spinach in as soon as I buy it of just when I have opened the bag?

Probably straight away. That's what I usually do anyway. I always wash lettuce and put it in straight away and that does seem to keep it fresh longer I think. I ought to do some kind of direct comparison sometime!

Thanks, they better bloody work, they cost a fiver, and the idea is to save money

mine last weeks and weeks...I use them until moisture is visible building up inside.
They certainly keep fruit and veg fresh for a long time, and as I can't get to the shops regularly this is very important to me.

I bought my first pack 2 weeks ago, and they've always had moisture visible on the inside. I think they're working, though.
