What can i do with it?! Given it free by someone. I'm a bit of a fussy eater and not a very adventurous cook so what shall I make?

i think i ACTUALLY can beat you on that score

OrmIrian · 01/08/2008 14:56

Stuff it with a mixture of rice and lentils with a little tomato, mushrooms and garlic, perhaps chillies if you like them and plenty of olive oil. Or you could use minced beef or lamb instead of lentils.

Bunch · 01/08/2008 14:57

Oh very good. Is there a strange phenonmenon (sp?) with large vegetables at the moment then?

Bunch · 01/08/2008 14:58

At last OrmIrian, a sensible suggestion! I wondered how long it would take!

claricebeansmum · 01/08/2008 14:59

Size is not everything Ruby

OrmIrian · 01/08/2008 15:00

Sensible! How daaare you!

Bunch · 01/08/2008 15:00

LOL - how true

OrmIrian · 01/08/2008 15:01

Or.... you could slice it up and make a moussaka type thing with it - using courgette in place of aubergine. Or bake it in a large dish with other mediterranean veg, garlic olive oil and eat it with pasta or nice bread.
