I don’t have a local small shop. Nearest supermarket is four miles away. Doesn’t sell anything very exotic or “ethnic “

The Co-op has nothing that I want at all .
Bread is not my favourite food really, but I'll go without it rather than buy the over-priced, almost out-of-date crap they sell.

My local shop is absolutely amazing and I thank that I live in a very ethnically diverse area for this. It is only a corner shop but must have over 100 herbs and spices, so many fruit and veg and loads of dried food and tins. I genuinely can't think what it doesn't sell apart from fresh double cream and decent bread.

Same here. The only things missing are fresh meat and fish. Although there is packaged deli meat, and a whole raft of polish meats like that.

Chorley cake.

Lancashire cheese with garlic.

Butter pie.

Both impossible to get in London, let alone at any of my local shops. I can eat Peruvian for breakfast and Ethiopian for lunch but if I want a Chorley cake or butter pie, I have to make them myself.
