Have just become a SAHM-can do the cheese on toast/sausage and mash etc, but have always been really lucky in that nursery have always fed dd her lunch, and I've always taken her into uni for tea as they do great home cooked stuff cheaply. She has suddenly become a fussy eater however, and I am worried I'll starve her! She can't live on rice krispies and ice pops! Please help me! All recipes gratefully received xx

What sort of food would you like. What sort of food has she gone off.

You don't need complicated food for little children. chicken (those ready roasted ones are fine if you don't feel very confident about it) with mashed potato and carrots will probably go down well, and plain boiled pasta with cheese and broccoli.

Toddlers have a plain diet, mostly, they don't tend to go for spices. Eggs are good.

She used to eat anything I gave her before she started at nursery, but she has become friends with quite a few fussy eaters and has copied their habits as then they got special food and got to sit on a special table at nursery, and I'm at a loss because she has always eaten everything I gave her. We are in the interim between pre-school finishing and school starting, so I might put her back on toddler meals and find out what she is and isn't eating-it seems to change daily atm-the minute she looks at it she just shouts "eurgh" and sits there, but I'm worried that she will eventually starve!!

Frozen veg is always good - sweetcorn, peas, soya beans (believe it or not) etc. Good with eggy dishes eg:

Baked eggy pie:
Split baps or muffins and lay in a greased lasagne dish. Pour boiling water over frozen jug to defrost a bit, drain then sprinkle on the bread. Cover with grated cheese (optional additions: bacon bits, finely chopped onion). Whisk up as many eggs as you can find (5 or 6 ideally) with qtr pint milk and pour over the lot. Salt & pepper and bake about 180degrees for 20mins-ish until golden brown and set.

Say she has to try everything and if she doesn't like it, try it with ketchup on!

Also, make a wallchart together listing everything she likes. It will help you when planning meals and encourage her to try more new things so she can add to the list.
