i can remember making them in food tech at school and used to love bashing up the biscuits but i cant remember any amounts!! sorry!

couldnt you just start with half a block of butter and add more if you think it needs more? or google recipes?

100g butter and 4 tbsp golden syrup heated gently - the syrup is the secret as it holds together beautifully - then add 300g crushed rich teas. Add 4 tbsp cocoa and 2 tbsp sugar if you want it to be a choccie base. Good luck!

Bases are also yummy made with Hobnobs - chocolate ones hold together particularly well!
