Low calorie recipes that will satisfy non-dieters

Looking for tried and tested recipes that are low(ish) calorie but very tasty and don’t feel like low calorie dishes to other family members. I know I can google for recipes but interested in what works for real families.
Thanks

Mediterranean white fish bake? Use peppers, garlic, onions, courgettes and aubergines. Roast in the oven for about half an hour, then add white fish and white wine and capers, lemon and olives and cover with foil and cook for another 15 mins.

Thank you @BillieWiper, this is exactly the kind of idea I was hoping for

I find that the easiest thing to do is cook normal family dinners but adjust my portion to focus on the veg and only have a small amount of meat and carbs. So last night we had curry and paratha. I only had one paratha but lots of curry while the boys had three paratha each.

I had a lot of success with the hairy dieters cookbooks. Everything was enjoyed and DH never once asked me if we were on a diet. I would up the portions a little so that DH could have a bit more than me making his less diet, but it never felt like diet food.

I think chicken fajitas from scratch are a good one - very easy using ground cumin etc. you can just have one tortilla or skip it and reduce sour cream etc!

Thank you! It is a really nice dish. Could serve with sweet potato mash?

Unsure if you're looking to actually reduce calories for other family members? But presuming you're not -

I tend to do the same as BillieWiper above - just give myself less carbs/more veg.

For example:
Casserole - chicken, loads of root veg, lentils or pearl barley. Serve with a load of mash or add bread for DH (just casserole for me).

Bean and chicken chilli - big batch made in slow cooker. Add rice/wraps/couscous for DH, just serve with extra veg for me.

Lentil bolognaise - make batch in slow cooker. Serve with rice or pasta and cheese for DH, serve small portion of carbs for me, or just veg, and measured amount of cheese.

I also do a feta bake in the oven - feta, olives, peppers, tomatoes, lemon, garlic and herbs. Could add chicken or fish. Serve with couscous or bread for DH but no carbs for me.

My tip - weigh out your own portions for things like cheese, as it's really easy to eat loads of calories when you judge it by eye.

I’m looking to reduce calories for me because I need to lose weight but struggle when I’m hungry. So I do try to eat more veg than I usually would but I really enjoy my food so would like the main bit to be lower calorie.
