I'm cooking /thinking for

A 7 year old and 2 adults ( trying to eat healthier)

What's your quick and easy family meals.

I need a list so I can just go right that's next it's more the thinking what to make than the cooking.

Think of some meals that both you and your DH enjoy eating, then Google for quick/simple/cheat versions of those meals.
Build a few weekly meal plans that you can rotate. It saves you from having to think too hard at the beginning of each week, and you can build a store cupboard of the base ingredients needed for these recipes e.g. certain herbs, spices, sauces etc… Also, the more you cook a particular meal, the quicker you’ll get and you’ll learn where you can take shortcuts.
Try to plan in at least one meal a week which you can make in a large to keep the freezer stocked, in case something unexpected comes up which prevents you from cooking.
Ear mark a few recipes which use store cupboard/freezer ingredients so you can whip them up without having to go shopping.

We’ve just become pescatarian and I’m loving these salmon burgers. https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/superhealthy-salmon-burgers They freeze well so I normally batch cook them. My dc eat them in a bun but I just have the steamed rice.

Healthy Living James’ 15-min peanut butter noodles are so easy but taste delicious.

This risotto is pretty easy and uses simple ingredients. I often make it when DC’s friends come over as everyone likes it. https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/tinned_tomato_risotto_50756
Ditto for these loaded wedges https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/loaded_potato_wedges_22372

If you're after something a bit lighter than potato-packed fishcakes, try these simple salmon burgers with ginger, soy sauce and coriander

Hi, i have a thread where i plan a weeks worth of food, then share recipes/photos etc. I tend to save reels on Instagram in collections, like 'soup' 'mains' and then each week i go through and select the ones im making that week, save in a different collection. It helps me keep track of what I want to make from the weekly shop.

Here's my thread

I think it really depends onw hat you jlike to eat and what you consider quick and easy.

Our standbyes that work well for everyone, including a fussy eater with dairy intolerance are below but some take a bit of cooking time, which is fine for me as it's not complicated.

Bolognaise
Meatballs
Baked chicken pieces with mash and steamed veg
Steak with wedges and veg
Burgers

Slightly less easy, but still all round popular include chicken or pork schnitzel, roast dinners.

Then things we make that are easy for the rest of us while the fussy one has something else include:

Stir fries - we like pork mince particularly but have chicken/steak etc regularly
Fried/air fryer salmon - usually with stir fried veg and rice
Tacos bowls
Fajtas (halloumi, chicken, steak usually)

Thai red curry - chicken or vegetarian (the convenience of easily accessible pastes make this a less onerous curry than other types but sometimes we buy those Taylor Curry packs or, I put the effort in to make a proper curry!)
Pasta with various sauces. DS' favourite currently is creamy sausage, fennel and peas. Chorizo and tomatoe usually good too. Bacon and mushroom with either cream or tomatoes is an easy fall back.

Meatballs with vegetables no pasta.

Sausage tray bake with sweet pot wedges

Chicken fajitas

Stir fry - add chicken, quorn

Make your own chicken or fish juorgons

Corgettie spagetti bolognese

Salmon tikka - marinate yoghurt, mild spice
