Happy new year šŸŽ‰

I really enjoy reading recipe books, for inspiration as well as actual recipes and was wondering if I’d missed any corkers this year!? Or if there’s any fabulous coming out soon.

I’m into all sorts of cuisines, fancy, healthy, 10 minutes, feasts, celebrities and fantastic chefs alike!
Only caveats are I don’t eat any sort of fish/seafood (so anything with a giant fish section is sort of a waste) I don’t own an air fryer, nor do I plan on buying one, and I don’t eat dessert/bake so looking for cookery books ideally!

Things I’ve really enjoyed recently are Sabrina Ghayour Feasts and Ottolenghi Simple

Also enjoyed the Leon Big Flavours

Thanks!

I love Anna Stanford's recipes. She isn't a professional chef, just a mum who is extremely creative and really enjoys cooking.
I've got her first book - Anna's Family Kitchen - which is always on my worktop and in constant use. She's just released a second book - Spinning Plates - which I haven't bought yet but it has great reviews.

About - Anna's Family Kitchen

Anna's Family Kitchen was inspired by my love of food and desire to feed my family healthy, home cooked wholesome meals that are beautifully presented and appealing but don’t require hours of prep in the kitchen.

I'm looking forward to Nisha katona's Curry Bible that's coming out in June. She makes Indian cooking so simple & accessible.
The best ones I've bought recently are Greekish & Kitty Coles Make more with less.

I bought myself a book that’s been out for years and is American so not at all my normal style but it is very good. Mark Bittman’s How to Cook Everything Vegetarian. It really is a bible of everything you need to know.

Greekish sounds right up my street, straight in my John Lewis basket 😊 thanks! Interesting too to hear of the ones that have been out a while but are still ā€˜new’

it's not super new, but my favourite cookbook of the last few years is Mezcla by Ixta Belfrage, it blends Mexican, Italian, and Brazilian into great recipes easily made with a British pantry.
