Anyone want to cook along with me as we prepare Christmas food and freeze it?

Hi all
I've started today to do a slow prep of food for Christmas Eve/Day.
Only things that I can freeze or store.
Today’s is Bread Sauce (bit like/hate I know). I’m making it in the slow cooker so it can bubble away. And then I’ll freeze later today.
Later this week will be Roast Potatoes.
Anyone interested in cooking along and adding dishes/recipes?

Yesterday I made and froze cranberry sauce, bread sauce and pigs in blankets( frozen raw). This weekend I'm going to make and freeze the red cabbage, 2 stuffings, cheese biscuits to have with drinks, sausage rolls and Yule log. Will do boeuf bourguingnon, dauphinoise and a pudding for our Christmas Eve dinner too.

Just makes life so much less frazzled at Christmas time. I make everything from scratch so if I don't freeze ahead I'm just cooking all day. I do make all the other veg sides and gravy on the day but the pressure is so much less having premade the other things.

Does anyone freeze Yorkshire puddings? Do you reheat from frozen or thaw first? It will just be the two of us this year, and I don't find the scaled down recipes work as well, so wondering about making a normal sized batch and freezing what we don't eat. I've recently discovered parboiling and freezing potatoes makes amazing roast potatoes, so I'll definitely be prepping these in advance.

@hididdlyho
YP’s freeze brilliantly and just take minutes from frozen to reheat.
No need to thaw.
Today I’m going to prep the parsnips and freeze them ready for the big day.

There was a tv program on channel 4 about prepping everything in advance. Batch from scratch sorry was no link button.

Prepped and frozen about 80 odd potatoes at the weekend. Just parsnips and carrots to do now, which I’ll do this weekend. So glad I’ve done all of this!
