Food to share at buffet

My craft group is having a simple buffet during our meeting next week. The organiser has asked us to take something to share with the rest of the group. I know one member is taking mince pies. I've no idea what I can take. I'd appreciate some suggestions other than sausage rolls.

Brie and cranberry filo parcels. I don't have a recipe to suggest as I just make them - but they're easy with pre-rolled pastry, most people can eat them, and if you're feeling artistic you can make them look like mini presents! Also bite-sized brownies/blondies always go down well.

The brie and cranberry bites was my 1st thought and you beat me 😊

Here is one recipe I made last week. I used puff pastry, not the one the recipe mentions. Note: I tried 2 bries, both from Aldi. 1 was the Brie de Meaux www.aldi.co.uk/product/specially-selected-brie-de-meaux-a-o-p-french-cheese-000000000283099004 and although its delicious to eat on it own, when cooked in these bites, it melted and went absolutely everywhere!

I also tried with a cheaper, basic brie that comes in a large triangle. I can't find it on their website, but it kept its shape when cooked.

I agree that the host should have a list of who is bringing what so you don't end up with 10 people bringing mince pies! What about drinks? That is another option to bring some fruit juices etc.

Fair warning: These bites just might steal the show.

Ooh I think I need to put rosemary sprigs on mine too - thanks for sharing! They are brilliant snacks for a buffet aren't they? And so easy to do!

I'm also going to try stilton and walnuts next time 😋
