Any experience eating lentil loaf?

I am coeliac so can't eat wheat. I attempted lentil loaf for the first time a few days ago. I ended up with indigestion but there were some orange bits left in the loaf where I hadn't properly blended the lentils. Does anyone make lentil loaf regularly? I am wondering whether to persist and get a jug blender instead of hand blender or give up.

Hand blenders really aren't suitable enough. Jug blender or a really good food processor is necessary- maybe try second hand if you don't want to commit too much money to one

I find my jug blender much better than my hand blender for similar issues (e.g. blending leeks) but my mum has (I think) a Kenwood hand blender and she doesn't have a problem with that. My jug blender is also Kenwood whereas my hand blender was Tesco Value 😬 so it may be that you could get a more powerful hand blender instead.

Definitely a decent jug blender, ideally a glass one rather than plastic. They get stuff so much smoother than a hand blender! I use mine for making cashew cheese and there's no way a hand blender would manage what the jug blender can.
