bitter apples & grapes - help please!!

hi,
I have an abundance of bitter apples & wine grapes which are also quite sour & very tiny. I don't know what sort of apples they are - they have an amazing pink flesh!!

Apart from wine (previously been a disaster) can anyone please recommend what I can do with them all? I'd hate for them to end up in the compost bin!

I think i'd try chutneys? Some kind of jelly with the grapes to have with cheese/meats/sandwiches

Apples into a chutney with spices and dried fruits?

can you put grapes in chutney? (truth to be told - I won't be making two batches of jelly or chutney!!)

I can't see why not? Fig chutney is delicious, I can imagine grapes would work. I'm a weirdo though. Pickled grapes? Ive had pickled damsons before, so should also work?

But otherwise, I've no other ideas.

Google says yes to both.

Fruit compote (basically stewed fruit) bottled in jars (or frozen) to have with ice-cream or as pies/crumbles during the winter. That way you can adjust the sweetness/add spices etc.

I’d definitely make a jelly to serve with cheese/venison/turkey. The grapes will make it set beautifully and it’s surprisingly easy and fun to make. You do need a jelly bag to filter it through though. It’ll keep for a good couple of years.
